April Sorenson grew up in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She graduated
from Iowa State University in 1991 with a degree in Zoology. She has
worked as a cook, a lab technician and a librarian.
April has no formal training in art. However, her
interest in animal biology and behavior is reflected in the animals that
she sculpts.
She loves the challenge of sculpting hot glass.
